Animals:Cattle were from 9 populations, comprised of the following breeds: Holstein, Jersey, Australian Red, Monbeliarde, Normande, Norwegian Red, Braunvieh, and Fleckvieh.
     Breeds associated:
Design:A meta-analysis was performed on the data from nine within-population GWAS for milk fat and protein percentage. The GWAS included imputed sequence variant genotypes of 94,321 individuals.
Analysis:Within-population GWAS were carried out by single-SNP regressions using mixed linear models. Meta-analysis was based on a weighted Z-scores model.
Software:Minimac3, Minimac4, FImpute, GCTA, METAL, EMMAX
