    Animals:Animals were German Holstein dairy cattle.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Bulls were genotyped using the Illumina BovineSNP50 BeadChip. Five SNPs identified as most significant in bulls were genotyped in cows. Association analysis with milk fat was performed.
    Analysis:Four linear regression models with increasing stringency were used. Haplotypes were analyzed using a mixed model.
