QTL Experiment in Brief |
Animals: | Animals were White Duroc x Erhualian intercross pigs. |
Breeds associated:
|
Design: | Animals were first genotyped for 194 microsatellite markers to identify genomic regions associated with susceptibility to ETEC F4ac. A region on SSC13 was further refined using 50 additional markers, followed by genome-wide association analysis using 39,720 SNPs on the PorcineSNP60 BeadChip. |
Analysis: | Multipoint linkage analysis, recombination breakpoint analysis, genome-wide association analysis, and combined linkage disequilibrium linkage analysis were performed. |
Software: | Allegro, SimWalk2, BEAGLE, GenABEL |
